Mr. Charles P. Stephenson

Mr. Stephenson is a former FBI Agent, FBI Police Instructor, FBI SWAT Instructor and FBI National Academy Instructor.

Mr. Stephenson has over 25 years experience in contract security guard operations and private investigations. He has testified and rendered opinions on issues of negligent security and foreseeability in connection with bars, apartment complexes, shopping malls, multi-building office complexes and special event gatherings.

Mr. Stephenson specializes in security guard company negligence in the hiring and training of security officers, negligent retention of security officers, false arrest, illegal detention by security officers and wrongful death or excessive use of force by security officers. He examines the issue of forseeability with regard to failure to provide appropriate security by property owners and special event promoters.

As an expert witness, Mr. Stephenson approaches each case with a "Best Practice" evaluation tempered with 25 years of operational field experience. He understands that crime reports, policies, and procedures are living documents that must be continually evaluated by employers and property owners if they are to to meet security standards in a post 9/11 environment.

Through his investigative firm, Mr. Stephenson conducts civil/criminal investigations, locates and interviews witnesses, inspects venue where incidents occurred, preserves evidence, and offers subpoena services.

A: $150.00 per hour, (four hour minimum), within 25 mile radius of domicile. Outside 25 mile radius milage and travel time calculated at .71 a mile $75.00 a hour. Out of town overnight calculated on minium of 12 hours at $150.00 per hour plus actual travel and per diem cost.
