Board certified Neurological Surgeon Brian Holmes has a full-time practice in complex spine surgery, including discectomy, spinal instrumentation and spinal fusion, skull base surgery, and peripheral nerve surgery. Conditions treated include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, intracerebral hemorrhage, cauda equina syndrome, and brain tumor, among others.
He is currently Chief of the Division of Neurological Surgery, Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Maryland, and an Associate Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine.
Former President and Scientific Program Chairman of the Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Society, he has served as an Executive Council Member since 1998.
Dr. Holmes provides Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), and consulting, opinions and expert witness testimony for attorneys, both plaintiff and defense, and insurance providers.
